Amanda was born and raised in Utah and still calls the Beehive State home.
“I'm married to my high school sweetheart, and we have one amazing little fighter who I am lucky to have call me Mom,” she said.
Outside work, Amanda loves traveling to new states and camping with her family.
Back in the office, Amanda does more than just process loans from corporate offices—she also trains new members of the team and is known for jumping in whenever another processor needs a hand.
“Amanda is a vital piece to our branch's success,” said Draper Branch Manager Jessie Van Wagoner. “Amanda consistently goes above and beyond to make certain we provide exceptional service to our clients and consistent turn times to our (industry peers). Simply put, Amanda is a rockstar and we couldn’t do what we do without her!”
Amanda’s dedication is due to her passion for giving back and her love for solving problems, she explained.
It shows up in her success rate—she’s often among the top 10 processors company-wide.
“(Amanda) really cares for these borrowers and has a surplus of knowledge when it comes to their loans,” said Alyssa Torres, who nominated Amanda for recognition. “She's an amazing asset to this company, and I believe she deserves to really be seen by everyone.”
Amanda is grateful for the opportunities she’s had at Castle & Cooke Mortgage, loves that she still learns something new at work every day, and loves her team:
“The team I am lucky enough to work with has been a wonderful experience.”
Fascinating fact
Amanda joined Castle & Cooke Mortgage back when the company had a Fort Union branch, but eventually moved to the Draper office. After six years as part of Team Castle, she left to “see the other side.”
“Worst mistake I ever made,” she said. “So glad Castle & Cooke (Mortgage) accepted me back.”
